[Go to any college you choose and examine the students that are working hard to learn and make good grades. Then look at the slackers, dopers and ones doing the minimal amount of work to get by. Guess which ones are getting a free ride and which ones are paying their own way?]

I am a specific example of that. I had monetary help for the first couple years of college. I was meandering along, switching majors and experiencing all the trappings of college life. Once the expense burden fell on me and me alone, I got exceptionally serious about getting done.
