Monroe - Taking away a cell phone away is a common punishment parents use to keep kids in line. However, that punishment got a Monroe County dad arrested...

What exactly did this girl tell the neighbors?
Monroe down by the state line.
Wait till the UN starts telling American parents how they can punish their kids. It’s coming...
""Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws." - Atlas Shrugged.
I really hate to see a bloody revolution in this nation, but if cops and prosecutors and the privileged government class don't start showing some common sense, we will have to stop them. Couldn't the cops tell that the under aged girl was drunk?
Second of all regarding the charges: it’s not HER phone, it’s his if he is paying for it. He can cut it off if he wants.
She said he hurt her when he wrestled the phone (which he paid for) away from her. He was arrested and charged with "interfering with a telecommunications device" which is a felony. The girl did not show up in court and so the judge dismissed the charges without prejudice which means that the prosecutor can charge him again.
Yep, that’s what Sen Botoxer and her cohorts are saying. Boy that’s going to set off quite a ruckus. Some illiterate UN stooge telling you what to do.
I am glad they dismissed the charges; but charging him again would be stupid. I hope he finds a new home for the girl. Of course, he would probably be charged for that.
If it were me, I’d give her her walking papers. I wonder how many times this guy is going to get hauled into court after this.
The US has gone down the tubes....One good reason not to live there now.
Those of you that still have to work and raise a family
have my sympathies.
Thank God, I am over 60 and able to escape.
I wonder how much this farce is going to cost the taxpayers.
I was thinking something way less lenient.
Is there a video that actually works?
Fortunately the girl is 17 year old. When she turns 18 he can throw her out of the house.
Works for me.
Does that have anything to do with a movement in Geneva (I think) that all countries except the US and Somalia have signed into? We have a congresswoman saying we should join and the O doesn't want us to be in the same catagory as Somalia.
If he's not in prison by then. :)
