It is illegal for the Justices to discuss any pending case with Obama. It is not illegal for them to socialize with him-- remember Scalia's hunting trip with Cheney while Cheney was a party to a case pending before SCOTUS?

I disagree. We FReepers are political junkies. We realize that politics is ‘war by another means.’ Unfortunately, the vast majority of folks don’t like politics & want everyone to ‘just get along’ & solve problems without ideology getting involved. I know, because I have to put up with my family (who all voted for O) & that’s what they always say. For now, we should give O respect while pointing out differences. If necessary, fillibuster to stop the really bad stuff. And when things go south (as I’m sure they will) the GOP should pull out the long knives & take no prisoners.

His speeches are nothing more than extended campaigning. This time to shore up drastically sliding numbers.
Look for these idiots to try and slide in anything and everything(health care next,who knows what after that, more spending) they can while they have their majorities since they know its for two years and two years only.
I dread what the country will look like in two years.
