HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) Nortel Networks plans to cut its work force by 3,200 jobs worldwide.
The Canada-based telecom equipment maker said the new round of job cuts will be made over the next several months. The reduction is on top of 1,800 job cuts already announced...

There’s been so many layoffs between Nortel, IBM, and Glaxo here in RTP that my morning commute time has shortened by half. We’re still getting passles of Yankees, Californians, and other critters into the area, but have pretty much run out of retail jobs for them.
We do NOT have to address manufacturing or technology jobs. They must not have gotten the memo.
What's scary is that most of the Obamabots seriously believe that. And that the grape KoolAid is TASTY! ;-)
That's amazing. It's little things like this that tell the tale, but most media people miss the important clues.
Well, I'm impressed - Advanced Squad Leader. I still have the original Squad Leader. I didn't realize AH came out with an Advanced. I went to Talonsoft's East Front original, in order to streamline the playing out of the scenarios. I wanted to finish at least one in my lifetime, LOL! Well many of them voted for zero because he promised them change. The change from employed to unemployed is still change, so they got what they voted for. I only feel sorry for the ones who did not vote for zero.
MultiMan Publishing is now releasing the original Advanced Squad Leader system, piece by piece, along with some original work. I bought mine over the space of several years when it was first published.
ASL is worlds better than SL, though the latter does have its good points.
Entire sets of ASL, with magazine additions and other goodies, occasionaly comes up on Ebay, though an entire set will run in excess of $1,500 dollars (like mine did, by the time my set was complete).
