The US, China, and Russia will be trying to discourage any major open conflict between Pak and India. We will see if they are successful.

India will assume that Pres Hussein will lean towards Pakistan, and will want to bide their time until Hussein and the Dems are in a weaker position. I could see Hussein trying for massive sanctions against India if India attacks Pak.
