“The Republicans sat on their hands and didn’t clap many times during the speech. Anymore would have been disrespectful to the office.”
When the man elected to uphold the Constitution of the United States proceeds to piss on said Constitution, he himself has disrespected the office and thus deserves not respect, but scorn.
