I believe if the Republicans had all closed primaries especially New Hampshire Romney would have won. If you look at only republicans who voted in New Hampshire Romney won a slight majority and that would have ended McCain’s run. Instead non republicans put McCain over.
And Mitt would have won the Florida primary, were it not for Gov. Ruth Crist’s last minute power play endorsement.
