But the most important run Alaska like a AAA rated Corp.

RAT media response: It's only ALASKA; nobody lives there!

Nobody in the context of the old leftist saw "how did Nixon/Reagan/Bush win? Nobody I know voted for him".

How ‘bout we set up a fund for the express purpose of paying such expenses for Sarah Palin? Make it easy to contribute via credit card so that people like me who live on a fixed income, and damned little of it at that(!), can give $25 or so when we have it.

Then every time they come up with some amount that she has supposedly not paid it just comes from the fund. Anything left over at the end goes to her campaign. Four years of that and she would be the best vetted candidate in the history of presidential candidates.

Like my Mom used to say, “Nothing says LOVE like the green of money!” Let's set up a way that we can show our support for her all along the way to the 2012 campaign. Just imagine the Left having to deal with that fund out there growing bigger and bigger! Every time the Left does something that we don't like we put a few dollars in the fund. Every time the GOP does something we don't like, drop a few dollars into the fund. And make it abundantly clear to the GOP that the money in the fund goes to Sarah, not the Party!

The one thing the Left, and the GOP, really understands is money! Give us a way to show our support for Sarah in a manner that drives the Left and the GOP up the wall!

Personally, I trust Sarah enough to let he use the funds as she sees fit. If she's worthy of the office of the President, she's certainly worthy of handling the fund!

Just an idea.

Absolutely with you on that. Nobody should rule out Sarah now. That’s just what the “media” wants. She’s the most promising star we have and she has 3 years to get herself ready. I won’t be voting for anymore RINOs for president. If we get another RINO candidate foisted on us I’m writing in Sarah.

The MSM and Left has forgotten that the Clinton's used an F-16 to fly from the Caribbean to Washington D.C. to just get Chelsea's schoolbook she left behind....

Reader comment I agreed with:

“She’s voluntarily holding herself to a higher standard. I look forward to your reporting on Obama using Air Force One to take his family out to eat in Chicago.”

No mention of the $2.6 million private jet the previous governor Murchowksi bought, and used to haul himself and family around Alaska.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/691/h
Sarah sold the private “governor’s” jet for $2.1 million.

Now she’s being pilloried for $7000 in travel expenses on commercial planes????

Glenn Beck cited a report the other day which showed that, under Gov. Palin, the state of Alaska has put away nearly $1 billion in a state “rainy day fund”, and put an additional $1 billion in an education fund.

She got that money by raising taxes on the oil producers, who pass that cost along to you and me. Overall the state budget has increased since she took office. If she has a "thrifty nature" she hasn't shown it here.

Funny you mention “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.” In a 2006 interview, Palin names it as one of her top 3 favorite movies.

I think it’s great that she’s “flushing” all this stuff out right now....getting it over with early. Come 2012, she’ll be the most squeaky-clean politician in history. As it stands now, she’s been pretty darn clean all along. These “dizzying” issues are the only things they can come up with against here-—in spite of paying 40 lawyers to dig stuff up.

What about the mother-in-law living in the White House? Are the taxpayers paying for her food, utilities, shelter, etc.?

Food no, but everything else yes. We don’t even pay for Obama family food. They pay their own. I was surprised to learn this, but we do pay for the meals that are official like when the Mexican President comes for a visit...Ugh. lol.
