IF that was LIKE FDR.....I don’t know how they made it through WWII....can you imagine sitting around a radio and listening to this????
The best parts of the speech - at the beginning, mostly - were FDR. Trouble is he had to come back to the present. Speaking of the present were the weakest parts of the speech. I agree with the poster that said the public “will lap it up”.
