If the coal plant feeds electricity to Congress and the WH, I say turning it off for a month or so could prove instructive to the residents and occupants of DC.

I think you are on to something, Paladin2. No juice for the Congress and White House? No juice for public utilities; e.g., sewage treatment, water, traffic lights, draw bridges, the Metro? . . . No juice for the Safeway and Food Lion? We are talking a very bad day in Bad Day Land, here, FRiends.

HOWEVER, no juice to power up Starbuck’s, or to recharge the cell phone, Blackberry, and iPod? It will be Shaun of the Dead Type I zombie CHAOS! (/s)

Imagining DC without electricity is not a comforting thought. Imagining DC without power once warm weather gets here is downright frightening. Obviously, these anarchists--and they are indeed anarchists--have not thought this thing through. Or maybe they have? I see no good in this.
