Meltdown on MSNBC: The Leg Tingle Is Gone?

I can hardly believe what I'm watching on MSNBC right now. Chris Matthews is almost critical no, not even almost, he's flat-out critical of President Obama on the economic front. He mentions an earlier conversation with CNBC's manic stock analyst Jim Cramer and a University of Maryland professor (Peter Morici?) knocking Obama for several economic decisions that the stimulus bill needed more real infrastructure and less pork, that the housing bill isn't inspiring confidence and doesn't look like it will work, and that no one has faith in Tim Geithner's solution for the banks.
Howard Fineman of Newsweek says Obama has been "grim and a little distant at the same time . . . Tim Geithner hasn't inspired any confidence anywhere, as far as I can tell."
Matthews: "He seems like Barney Fife to me."
Eugene Robinson: "I actually referred to him as Doogie Howser, Treasury Secretary, and I think it's a little unfair." Much laughter ensues.

Either the marxist media is trying to get some credibility or Hellry’s 2012 campaign has begun.

Actually, futures are up a bit after yesterday’s tumble. I expect another drop tomorrow after the contents of tonite’s ‘speech’ are digested. At this rate, the Dow will be at zero by April 15th. Nice going, Oboomba.

Doogie Howser had more smsrts at age 14 than Geithner can dream of having now.
Robinson’s analogy was so far off the mark as to be meaningless.

Matthews: "I thought 8,000 was the floor, and it looks like 6,000 is the floor. People are angry, I'm getting angry." Hissy, you ignorant fool - anyone who has taken more than a high school economics class could have predicted that 0bama was going to continue the world economy. What we did in the last election was the equivalent of switching from an experienced pilot in the middle of a flat spiral, to one of the passengers who has flown on a plane, but never handled the controls.
Dick Morris was right - the Presidency wasn't worth winning this cycle. The good news is that maybe this economy, and Zero's flailing response to it, will finally destroy the myth of Democrat competence in economic matters, and the myth that New Deal policies work. It's going to be a terrible price to pay. In the long run, we can only hope it's worth it.

VERY funny!! Thanks, I needed that.

I think Matthews is piling on now for the same reason so many on the left are--so when the situation improves at all, they can swing back into full-savior mode. I can almost hear him now, "This president--this MAN, who's shown us what a MAN is like in the White House--has shown leadership like we haven't seen since, well, I'll say it, since the days of JFK and FDR. Ann Coulter, how can even YOU disagree with that blatantly OBVIOUS description?"
"Well, Chris the facts--"
"Thank you, Ann, we'll be back after this commercial from the Peace Corps, which I used to be in, you know."

The only hope I see here is that Øbama is gathering all the most vile rats into one place.
Then we can vote them out en mass.

From the Secretary of Labor right down the line, I fail to see where the “change” is coming from. On the economic front, Obama is clueless and so are his appointees. Even the stock market is telling him he's full of crap. If he was sincere about fixing things, he would simply pass a massive and permanent tax cut on personal and corporate income. Of course he won't do that, since those Bozos in Washington want the power that comes with giving out YOUR money to the non-productive members of society. This is not good.

Advertisement Obama doesn't get you excited anymore?
You're suffering from leg-tingle dysfunction.
MSM tested! See for yourself.
Christingle keeps you tingle-ready for up to two hours or more! No more disappointment in the TV room -- when Obama appears on screen . . . .
