On this forum many years ago I suggested this very kind of lawsuit.

The police take an oath to enforce the laws. It's malfeasance not to enforce those laws. Thus the first path for a lawsuit: willful negligence leading to injury.

As far as civil rights violations, it's a violation of group rights - the group being the citizenry - to have all of the applicable laws enforced against them while another group - illegal aliens - enjoys a situation where the laws are not enforced against them, as a matter of official policy.

This is an abrogation of the Equal Protection clause of the 14th Amendment.

Thus you have a civil rights case.

Know what's great about "civil rights" cases?

The federal government is obliged to pay you for them. The jerks who got the sickening decision from Mariana Pfaelzer in the Prop 187 lawsuit collected a couple of million.

So it's a way the Left has funded itself for years.

Hopefully, the Right can learn to play the same game.

In the meantime I hope Jason wins big. Be even more fun to see Phil Gordon (may the dung of a thousand donkeys be upon him) have to hand over some big check.
