Note for future LVMS attendee's: Last year the Neon Garage pass got you all of Pit Road access. This year was the back side of pit road only. To see the front side of PR you had to buy the Driver Intro package. How stupid is that?!! The event security dude at Shrub's pit box did not know this or he didn't care, people from the Neon Garage were going over the wall in droves. :)
Just a side note...
I'm sure most of you know that my boy (now 14) has always been the sidekick on these Nascar adventures, for 7 years now. I'm not sure who liked it better, me or him, but it was always a good time.
Saturday evening he tells me that he does not want to go to Sunday's race. Umm, to say that I was upset does not cover it. Wow. If he does not want to go, then there is no sense in me going. What fun would that be, by myself?
Kids! What do ya do?
And then the better half says, "I'll go with ya!" Another "Wow". She has never wanted to go back after the first race we went to. To be honest, I think she got her socks rocked on Friday - the Neon Garage. She liked that a whole bunch. And she knew how much I liked going.
Bottom line is that if it were not for my sweety, I would not have went Sunday. It's good to be loved! :)
