That our citizens felt the need to purchase guns and ammunition upon the election of Barak Obama is not hysterical but quite reasonable. Our citizens know that a representative democracies such as we have enjoyed does not function properly without a free press that does its job.

Our citizens have watched the media and watched the sun sentinel in particular and concluded that they simply cannot trust you to do your job and that means they have rationally lost a measure of confidence that their society will continue to provide them with democracy and security.

Since you have destroyed confidence in the institutions which provide democracy and security by your utter bias in your "slobbering" coverage of Barak Obama, rational citizens conclude that neither will you fulfill your function in our society of maintaining scrutiny over this government. That raises the specter of a government out of control, of a totalitarian state. Whether the prospect is real or not is difficult to measure because, by your abdication of your responsibility to tell the truth about Obama, you have created the quite rational perception that our citizens must look to themselves and to their arms for their security.

Nothing hysterical about it at all, people are just taking obama at his word, since both he and biden are on record as supporting a new, permanent, and stricter “assault weapons ban”. And for hunters who think their bolt action rifles are safe, nope...sorry. Those are actually high powered sniper rifles that shoot cop killer bullets and can take down an aircraft..so they gotta be banned too. Obama supports your second amendment right to own a single shot black powder musket. That’s about it.
