The attacks against Palin were despicable, yes, but unprecedented? Weren’t they little more than a continuation of the increasingly-admittedly-liberal media’s bias, as directed so vehemently, for so long, against President Bush? I wasn’t surprised by the attacks, when they came. I was surprised by Sarah’s lack of foresight and readiness.

I believe many of the things said about Sarah’s children were unprecedented, yes. Perhaps I should have elaborated, but I don’t recall a candidate being torn apart quite that way during an election process.
