Couldn’t work because conservatives are too busy working to make a living and can’t take the 3-5 days off it would take to make the round trip.

I do agree, however, that our politicians have stopped listening to mere protests that have no ‘punch’. How about an alternative that’s workable...

Do the same thing at and around local federal office buildings all over the country. Accomplish the same thing but do it nationwide. Let those who are within driving distance of DC do DC, but the rest of us can do the same thing nationally at our local federal facilities. It would take grassroots organization and planning on an extensive scale to coordinate a synchronized movement nationwide, and I believe that’s what the Chicago Tea party is trying to accomplish on July 4 this year. Perhaps we need to merge ideas.

I,myself,purposely have set aside vacation time for an event like this......but I understand your reasoning..

You are assuming that anyone will have a job in a few months—or that going to a “job” will net you anything but a few worthless $10-billion-dollar bills.
