I thought Glocks have a triple safety system?

That is a fact. Three safety measures to guarantee your Glock never misfires.

1. leave it in the box.
2. leave it unloaded in the box.
3. lock the unloaded gun in its box in a safe and try to forget it's there then buy a Colt 1911a1 to depend on.

Just kidding, a Glock is a decent firearm if you spend sufficient time to become intimately familiar with its quirks and safe handling requirements.

On second thought, just buy a 1911, nearly 100 years of reliability can't be argued with..

Dittos to that.

I have a 1911a1 and my future son in law has a Glock 17/9mm.The glock had no safety, just what looks like a double trigger. This last Thanksgiving he brought it over for some target shooting. I was uncomfortable handeling it loaded. A 1911 cocked and locked is double safetied.Snap off the safety it still won't shoot unless you hold it right.
