Well, to be honest, his opinion is wrong and he did insult people who disagreed with him by suggesting they were panic stricken fools, equating it with Y2K and saying it was giving gun owners a bad name. If he's happy with whatever amount of ammo or whatever, that's his choice.

It was evident that many here thought he was wrong and let him know it, in fact I hope it changed his mind. Better to take a beating here than take a beating or worse get killed because you didn't have enough ammo.

So, what were your other screen names? And while we're being honest, isn't calling FReepers aholes a bit contentious? Especially when you have an 11 day old sign up.

Saying there might be panic buying isnt calling people “panic stricken fools”. And me saying “dont let the aholes get you down” is an expression, it isnt “calling freepers aholes”.
Bottom line, all the guy did was say he didnt think he needed alot of ammo and people went ape on him. I thought the guy was being attacked unreasonably and deserved some support. Look at how harshly you attacked me when I stood up for him. Unwarranted personal attacks, not honest disagreements are what will give gun owners a bad name.
