Like Rick Santelli stated, a CONTRACT IS A CONTRACT.
The only way to solve this is for the borrower and lender to rewrite their contract. That's what is in the best interest of both parties.

homeowners who wanted more than they could afford -
Banks who were greedier than they could cover...
Hedge funds who played for sinfully high returns but didn't want to accept the risk
And Madoff's greedy multilmillionairs.
NO bailouts.
NO BAILOUTS FOR ANY OF THEM.
