I believe that God can’t do it all. That puts some burdens in our hands and trusts that we will help him.

But He's also not above (or should that be "below"?) giving us a flawed person to govern us as a way to get us back on the right track.

But it seems to me King Saul had his detractors but, in the end, God kept him in power until He dethroned him, not the Beer Kadesh Times.
