You are imagining a war that doesn't exist right now. Most of these enemy combatants are not even Iraqis - - they are insurgents who come in from Iran, Syria, Jordan, and God knows where else, bringing with them the cowardly implements of IEDs, rockets, and mortars, etc., for the sole purpose of creating chaos and killing Americans and Iraqis. I stand by my opinion that you get rid of every last one of them, mercilessly.

We don’t play that way even against insurgents and guerrillas such as our 70 year indian wars in the west.
