With all due respect, a tea party is best not held at a beer garden on a friday afternoon. A wonderful opportunity to meet with like minded Freeps, yes. A serious, political, in your face political rally will not be "in your face" at an out of the way place. Granted we are not able to mobilize like the unemployed street urchins we see on a day to day basis, but we can work around our productive employment hours and have impact.

Impact is not at a bar on a friday. I humbly suggest Victory Plaza, which just happens to be outside the news studios of ABC Channel 8 news and their beautiful glass set. It would be obvious to all on whatever said day to avoid a mass of Righteous protestors when they are 10 feet from the main set of your evening news broadcast. We need to put this where the MSM can't avoid it. Power to the people!!!!

Hey, I agree. I think Dallas should be hosting one TOO (not instead). I’m having to drive way out to Ft. Worth for this, and I wish someone would organize one in downtown Dallas, during lunch hour, so no one would have to take off from work, people could ride the train down from their offices along Central, etc. Why don’t you see if you can put that together between now and Friday? I’ve got too much on my plate already.

a tea party is best not held at a beer garden on a friday afternoon. -------------------- It was the Location not the Beer Garden. Busy intersection, and nobody was crowding inside, everyone was OUTSIDE on the curb. The Band in the back was playing to about a dozen people or so, and most of those were Signing the Resolution on the tables, and then headed to the Street. It was not a Bar Scene, it was a STREET SCENE. Taking it to the Streets
