Agreed. It just didn't happen in our country when I was a kid, either (little later). Even during the riots of the late 60's, no firearms were confiscated from law-abiding citizens in black neighborhoods, as far as I know. ...knew some of those folks who sat in their houses and businesses with loaded firearms for the purpose of guarding themselves and their property.

Apparently Nagin is in a protected class under the HABOP(Help A Bro Out Program). The then AG, let the SSMF’er slide on violating those peoples 2nd and fourth amendment rights.
