No worries for Deval Patrick. That Senate seat was bought and paid for decades ago.

They could put a monkey in the spot and it wouldn’t make a difference. They’ll just vote for whatever Harry Reid tells them to vote for anyhow.

Damn! The flag at the post office was at half-mast yesterday, and I was kind of hoping it was for Kennedy.

Hes someplace sunny, near the water, where he can rest and sail, meanwhile - MaryJo maintains room temp in her coffin
My heart breaks for him
To: buccaneer81
I hope the last thing he sees in his cancer addled mind before he sheds his mortal coil is Mary Jo pleading with him not to leave her.
The next best thing is for him to fall out of the sailboat unconcious and going to a watery grave.

Succeed? The Kennedy’s sense of entitlement never ceases to amaze! So they aren’t going to bother with elections anymore in Mass.?

I wonder if old Teddy has contemplated how he is going to explain to St. Peter about his support of abortion - not to mention Mary Jo.
Sorry, not one iota of sympathy here.

Hes someplace sunny, near the water, where he can rest and sail, said a pal of the senior senator. Time is of the essence. Its very sad.Mary Jo was too. She just didn't think time was of the essence.

That Senate seat was bought and paid for decades ago. It's so funny how the United States was founded upon a disdain of aristocracy, yet today, a Senate seat can be considered part of someone's estate.

"Hes someplace sunny, near the water,..." Wouldn't it be ironic if he slipped in and drowned.

From the article:
He has returned to Washington only sporadically since being diagnosed...The Swimmer never did have any class. If he did, he would have already resigned his senate seat instead of waiting until they carry him out in a box. Instead, he's just the latest in a long string of poster boys for term limits.
As for his cancer, while I don't wish the disease on anyone, the best I can muster in his case is that we all gotta go sometime. Too bad Mary Jo went decades before she had the chance to grow old and outlive this man.

Would Love to hear what The POPE would have to say to The Swimmer in a private meeting somewhat similar to his meeting with Bugeyes Piglousy!:-O Do You think he would ask if his Soul ever questioned his horrific act of leaving Mary Jo to die an agonizing death to save his sorry butt?

I just hope that Teddy the Swimmer makes a GOOD confession before he dies, otherwise, all the prayers in the world won’t keep that soul out of the Hot Place.

Be nice to think that Mary Jo will soon have chance to confront her killer, but he's not going to end up where Mary Jo is. Teddy K is heading south and can spend eternity with Hitler, Ted Bundy, Stalin and that huge group in hell.
When he finally kicks, it would be nice if some media people reviewed what really happened at Chappaquiddick. But instead it will be Camelot, retold once again. The same old Kennedy schlock...
Unfortunately, he did more damage to the country than his death can erase. The only good news is that, he won't be able to do anymore.
