Interesting article.

Another thing Pr Obama may be overlooking is the military, enlisted and officer alike are sworn to defend the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic.

The author is correct in saying that if federal employees “went on strike”, so to speak, it would cripple him. That is true, but in the world of logistics, the more support “we the people” can get the better chance we have at winning the upcoming civil war.

Like the game of othello, any piece that could be on his side could also be on ours. What we need is not just people to go on strike, but to actively aid and assist: imagine what would happen if we had the electric companies on our side, we could shut down DC’s power-grid and snuff out some of his command-and-control ... same with the telephones. (maybe not ultra-high level, but certainly mid and low level comms)

The key to winning is Logistics. (Like popular support, ammo, food, fuel/transportation...)

...same with the telephones.

If someone could hack/shut-down his Blackberry, he'd be like a marionette with no strings.
