It's autocracy no doubt, but isn't communism. Autocracy is when a single ruler controls a country. A dictatorship. Communism can also have a single leader, and usually does, but the power of that leader is disguised behind an ideology that fools his public into believing that his evil is really for the good. Communism is way worse than government by a dictator.

We have Vladimir Putin cautioning us against eroding the spirit of free enterprise, and Hu Jintao giving interviews where he quotes Adam Smith's Theory of Moral Sentiment.

Name one person who ran for President (or Vice President) in either party who seems to understand capitalism as well as the leaders of Russia and China. What does that say about the quality of leadership in this country?
