TAXPAYERS' TEA PARTY
All taxpayers who owe additional taxes on April 15th....FILE AN EXTENSION.
If you have a refund due, go ahead and file...the earlier the better.
What would they do? It's perfectly legal. And---if enough of us do it---we'll demand a "bailout" from the IRS penalties for not paying til October.
Of course, we all know the gov't would just go on borrowing and spending. But it sure would get their attention. And I suspect even the liberal media would have to take notice of a taxpayer revolt if it were widespread.
What do y'all think?!

I don’t think half-measures are always appropriate. Sometimes your back is at the wall. If you’re not back-to-wall yet, fine, but don’t expect the drooling monster to be impressed by your little tap dance.
The time will come when each man must ask himself, have I had enough? And at that time the choice is either full resistance or surrender. Go down fighting, or go down abjectly.
However, if you choose full resistance when enough others do likewise, it’s possible the govt will go down instead.
We can also shine our ‘torches of liberty’ (a tiki torch in the front yard).
Ayers' group discussed that number at their meetings.
I think that is a great idea.

How about a new angle on the Olympic torch across the country...only people would line up about 20 ft apart and “carry the flame” (their burning tax returns) and light the next one in line.
Heck, the last one could dunk it in the Boston Harbor to extinguish the flame. Now that would make for good reality TV!
Yeah, you can tell the IRS you raised your estimated mortgage interest based on the amount you would be paying for your NEIGHBORS!
My way is faster. First everyone goes outside, second Obama orders troops to fire on us, third..............

EXACTLY! I generally use 20 million as the figure we would NEED to be successful.

Therein lies the problem. We have become a nation of squishy wusses.
My taxpayers teaparty is to participate in as little taxable activity as possible.
I no longer eat ANY lunches out. I will start bicycling to work in the next month. I am getting the ground ready for our garden.
Etc.
My economic footprint is gonna be as tiny as possible.
I have a self employed friend who has not even filed a federal income tax return in almost 20 years. He pays all state B&O taxes, etc. He earns a comfortable six figures.
The feds better hurry up and find a way to prove he is not right - before he dies of old age...
Real estate agents got hammered last year. I wonder what’s gonna happen when it is discovered that MILLIONS of them didn’t pay taxes because they couldn’t.
Looks like indentured slavery to the IRS for them...

According to my military sources, they cannot fire on an American citizen unless said citizen is firing on them, or such other action that would threaten their life like throwing a brick at their head for instance.
Line up and put your hands up, making no threatening moves. Again, what are they gonna do with 20 million citizens?
There have been MANY acts of "civil disobedience" and destruction of government property in DC over the past 8 years by far far fewer than we are discussing here. The troops and police watch over the destruction and never move a muscle to stop it. Heck, the commies hold work shops on "civil disobedience" and "how to get arrested" before all their major rallies and marches.
I haven’t touched a US bill since september. However, with garage sale season coming, I may have the opportunity.
