*yawn* So a little packet sniffing, or a little social engineering to get at an ID, or a $10 instant cash-card... Where there is a will, there is a way. Hackers, both white and black, have been playing these games for years. If it can be written, it can be un-written.

Or they will pressure manufacturers or the standards boards to eliminate the capability. Or the Department of Homeland Security will simply declare such such actions to be domestic terrorism. Speaking of which, you left the neocons out of your earlier diatribe. Shredding the constitution in the name of “fighting the war on terror” doesn’t sit so well with the Libertarians either. Neither does their interventionist foreign policy.
