NEW YORK (Reuters) – Hundreds of demonstrators rallied to boycott the New York Post on Thursday, branding the newspaper as racist for publishing a cartoon that appeared to compare President Barack Obama to a chimpanzee.
Demonstrators led by civil rights activist Al Sharpton chanted "End racism now!" outside the parent company's skyscraper in midtown Manhattan and called for the jailing of Rupert Murdoch, whose international media conglomerate News Corp owns the Post.
The newspaper has defended the cartoon as a parody of Washington politics, but Sharpton said it exploited a potent image in the history of racism toward blacks.

These protesters are clueless. Did Obambi write the stimulus package? In fact, did he even READ the stimulus package?
Maybe they should be protesting sexism being that Queen Bee Pelosi actully had the hand in writing the stupid thing.

I live in Ct but I subscribe to the NY Post.
The deliveryman usually drops it off around 6 AM. I walk back and forth, looking out the window, until it arrives. On the rare occasion the delivery is delayed and my morning routine is ruined.
The cartoon is on Page Six where the juiciest gossip column is located.
This is a transparent Sharpton scam. I hope Murdock tells him to go f himself.

Actually there’s a “Bugs Bunny” cartoon with this big ape dancing around a building with a cup, collecting money and there’s a little chimp with him adding up the money....LOL...That’s Zero!!!! The chimp looks just like him.
