Drudge is one very senstationalist silly person. He put it in bold red and used the siren for this? All CNBC tv personalities act like this, what is new or “breaking” about it?
It was a reporter having fun and some of the traders having fun with him, what the hell am I missing. Was there a recent poll showing a majority of Americans wanting a revolt? Was there major coupe in the works in Washington? Why the sensationalism?
Because according to Gallup, since the stimulus bill:
Democrats in congress approval is up 25 points to 43%

No real threat of a tea part in those numbers.
Not saying I like this but I justed wanted to inject some reality in the minds of people like Drudge who are easily moved by a single emotional outburst by tv personalities that make their livings by being both informative and entertaining.
This is the reaction of Wall Street to zero's mortgage bailout plan that just came out yesterday. What's breaking is that people are drawing the line at their tax dollars being used to pay off some deadbeat's mortgage. For the first time someone had the guts to call zero out on live TV.... an NBC affiliate, no less. There were tons of angry calls into talk radio in NYC this morning. People are FINALLY outraged.
I think your completely wrong. I think people are seething. I know I am. And you gotta take Gallup with a huge grain of salt since you don’t know the breakdown.
For all you know the breakdown was 60% Dems. 30% Pubs and 10% indies.
Such numbers mean nothing. Actually they mean something - excrement.
How many Repubs did they ask? What were the questions? How many voters did they ask? College students? Welfare recipients? Racial breakdown? Etc.
Just the usual polling crap sandwich.
We should ask a focus group how they feel about revolution before we do anything. Quick, somebody call Frank Luntz.
