True. Back during Clinton's first Memorial Day in office, there was a movement to send postcards to the White House to tell him to stay home and not lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. I sent several cards, and ended up being audited that following year, even though I used the short form. I often wondered if the audit wasn't connected to my having sent those cards. It would be interesting to see how many other folks who sent cards were audited too.

This linked article has been completely re-written since the first time I was there! They removed facts that flowed through the timeline, the dialogue between the cop and the citizen, it has been completely scrubbed and spun to sound more reasonable.
