Any chance of getting a Conservative elected Gov next time?
It’d be nice. There hasn’t been one elected since 1964.
Depends on a candidate, but then that’s most often the case everywhere.
Second opening for Governor, after Janet Napolitano got yanked from Arizona. New Mexico’s Gov. Richardson barely escaped the sad fate, but he has other problems. If GOP is aggressive and can put serious conservative candidates, they are all ripe for the taking.
