I suggest forming a group along the lines of the ACLU model called something like "American Citizens Against Socialism".

We can get our own lawyers stirring up trouble, make appearances on the talking heads shows, out socialists, name a socialist crook of the week, form our own Unamerican Activities Committee, etc.

It could be an offshoot of FR or something completely unrelated.

Imagine if we could get a million people contributing a dollar a week with the proceeds going to run TV ads denouncing socialists in the government by name. Bypass the press and the DC politicians, expose the media outlets who refuse to run our ads as propagandists for the socialist Administration, etc.

I like these ideas. Whatever is done, I think it needs to be more in-your-face and not party-political-work-as-usual because that just doesn't leverage a few people enough. Look at the tactics of some of the environmental groups, some of the anti-pet animal groups -- a few people, but in your face. Of course, they get all the publicity. I do realize that if PETA has 100 people somewhere it is reported as a huge protest and if we have 100 people somewhere it's probably not even reported... But my point is, routine party work, just harder and longer, isn't going to do it. IMHO.
