I spent a fair bit of time in Quebec. They are a really great bunch of conservative people. It helps alot if you attempt to speak French — it’s a Respect thing, but they understand English perfectly well. They have a very, very strong sense on Identity, rather like the US South does. And when the Habs aren’t winning, they cheer for the Vancouver Canucks — my home team. Or anyone who’s playing Toronto.
I enjoy Manitoba and Newfoundland, too. Spent alot of time in Winnipeg — it’s probably my favorite Canadian city after Vancouver.

Haha! That's classic! Having seen The Rocket, I can see why they'd be for anybody against Toronto...
