WASHINGTON -- A federal appeals court has overturned a ruling that would have transferred 17 Guantanamo Bay detainees to the United States.

The men are Turkic Muslims known as Uighurs. They have been cleared for release from Guantanamo, but the United States will not send them home to China for fear they will be tortured. So they remain in prison while the U.S. figures out what to do with them.

So they remain in prison while the U.S. figures out what to do with them.

If they didn't pay their taxes they can get Cabinet jobs in Barry's administration.

Send ‘em home anyway. It’s China’s problem, not ours.

Mr. Obama never thought this one through thoroughly.

Now, if he brings this before the SCOTUS, who’s going to argue the case? His no experience Solicitor General, of his Dep AG, who spent much of his career defending people and organizations of questionable character.

Way to go, Mr. President! Another smooth move from you and your minions.

If Sino-American relations are more important than the hundreds of peaceful protesters killed at Tianammen Square on 4 June 1989, they are certainly more important than 17 of their nationals in Gitmo.

I don’t think China would worry about any prolonged legal action.

Ship them to Pelosi’s house with a few sent to Feinstein and Boxer. In fact, house all Gitmo’s residents in the basement of the White House. They should feel right at home there with the Liberal Messiah wanting to reach out to Muslims.

Exactly. SO why are we worried about it? They’re Chinese, and should be returned to that nation.

No, there is a treaty that says we can’t. It is our problem and there is no Australian frontier as a solution as had the Brits way back when.

Oh, I was unaware of the treaty. Can we instead just release them into the Cuban populace?

The Deputy AG should. All he has to do is explain that guys were really poro stars back in China, an activity he knows well and has defended vigorously. Further, they will maimed or killed if sent there. On the other hand, the US is very tolerant of such people, with even at least one porn star contemplating a run for Senate from Louisiana. Only in Amerika.

Can you believe this? Obama releases them and then doesn’t know what to do with them. Some plan. Just like the rest of his agenda. Leave them there; that’s what you do with them. Or as you suggest; send them to live with Pelosi or a number of other Congress idiots.
