Everyone in our community knows that the Democrat Sheriff is a drug dealer. He works with the GBI to arrest all [other] drug dealers in the County. He also has DUIs from TN and NC that don't show up in GA. The powers that be had to expunge his record (from spousal abuse and DUIs) before he could even run for office.

But they keep reelecting this good-for-nothing-twerp because he's a "local" even though they know about the wife-abuse and the drugs.

One of his other endearing qualities is that he has been known to plant drugs on people he arrests. The local attorneys do their best to get the arrestee to cop to the drug charges so they (the attorneys) won't have to go to Court. (Freebee Attorneys don't make much an hour.)

No other local will run for office against "our" Sheriff. And "outsiders" (from Florida usually) who run against him and lose have to watch their backs . . . he ran the last one off and this one from last year's elections may still be around, but I haven't heard from him or seen him in town.
