That is a very good analogy, and I afraid may be quite close to the truth.
Not to make light of our economic situation but we raised a baby goat in the house. They are actually quite smart. She was housetrained just like a dog and went for walks on a leash. The kids and I had a really hard time giving her up once she got to be full grown.
