‘NK Has Built Uranium Enrichment Facilities’

FEBRUARY 18, 2009 09:00

South Korean and U.S. intelligence have discovered that North Korea has built facilities that can produce a small amount of highly enriched uranium, a senior Seoul official said yesterday.

“Despite North Korea’s denial that it has a uranium enrichment program, (South Korea and the United States) have shared information that North Korea has established uranium enrichment facilities,” the source said.

The underground facilities are known to be located in Sowi-ri, North Pyongan Province.

Sowi-ri is an administrative district of Yongbyon, North Pyongan Province, where plutonium facilities including a five-megawatt and a 50-megawatt reactor and reprocessing facilities are located.

The North is believed to have set up underground facilities to enrich uranium nearby its Yongbyon facilities in Punkang-ri.

The official, however, declined to mention details, including North Korea’s technological progress in enriching uranium and its uranium output.

There have been people who are so happy to ignore or deny this fact. Including Dems. Now that they are in power, they say it's Bush's fault.

If we destroy the bridges over the Yalu and cripple their ports, the entire country will be dead in a month or two.

There problem solved. :)

And before the month or two has even started to be over, they would have bombed the nuts out of Seoul. If it was as simple as that, the South would have taken care of Chia Pet a long time ago. Their testing a nuclear device didn’t help our cause either. Since the Obama administration is in a mood to trade strategic initiatives, they might figure something they’d want to give to the Chinese in return for support against North Korea.

Next thing you know every wannabe thorn in America’s flesh will develop a rogue idiot dictator next-door so that they can cut a deal with Obama.

I am so frustrated right now, that I am almost, almost to the point where I really don’t care what, who or how many casualties are suffered so long as the Constitution survives intact.

I wont live to see the Republic reborn. Know it, accepted it.

Hope, my friend. It’s what keeps us alive...don’t give up on it. Everything always comes a full cycle. The extremities to which the current administration is driving their turn towards the left will lead to a backlash sooner than you think.

The Republic hasn’t died, it has fallen asleep. It will rise again. All in good time :-)

Shame on both the Democrat (1990s) and Republican Administrations (2000s). Also, needless to say TLR, this dingbat in there now will be no better.

Lord save us all from these bipartisan idiots, numbskulls when it comes to outsmarting and taking down the Kim Jong-il regime, which must have General MacArthur 60 years later spinning in his grave in southern Virginia.

If someone could tell Mac years later that the DPRK regime under Kim il Sung's son (with grandson waiting in the wings) and the Korean People's Army was still in power after the no-win armstace, and had developed nuke weapons and was working in ICBMs to hit America, I cannot imagine what he would say. That corncob pipe would certainly come crashing down to the ground in uttter disgust.
