What individual parents teach their children I don’t know, but since there is a whole world that is teaching their children a very clear and strong lesson every day, the opposite message will have to be just as clear and strong.
Sure children have been born out of wedlock for a long time and we’re reaping the harvest.
But unwed pregnacies haven’t been a major issue, other than than the whole welfare thing now. Palin’s kid doesn’t have the welfare thing going on so that’s not an issue.
For the rest of society, we’ll do what we’ve always done, and just teach our kids and hope for the best and deal with the mistakes.
Personally, I think we aren’t teaching our kids to be accountable and responsible.Or some of us aren’t. In my world, collecting a welfare check is the lowest of the low, it just isn’t done. In other families, it’s a 3rd or 4th generation thing that’s acceptable.
I don’t know what the answer is.
