Therein lies the bigger question. Why is any of this important to anyone here? Some seem to think that Sarah Palin invited unlimited scrutiny of her life and the lives of anyone within three degrees of her for having the audacity to be a governor and take the VP spot on McCain's ticket.
It seems to me that these trivial details of the personal lives of her children only became an issue when the NYTs and other far left media decided that anything was fair game if it served to hurt Sarah Palin's political chances with the right.
Those lefties made a calculated decision. They looked at the news stands at the grocery checkout and saw where a lot of people put their priorities. Other people's private lives. Not their own lives, not politics, not public policy. Checking on Britney's panty status is where most of these people's noses are.
Our leaders, by definition, LEAD. All of the decisions of someone people are pushing for President are relevant.
Now, having said that, I think that most of this happened behind Palin’s back, and she was presented with a fait accompli of two irresponsible children.
But pretending that children relying on their parents to raise those children’s children is some sort of moral victory is obtuse.
