ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) Bristol Palin loves motherhood, but the teenage daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says she's not getting much sleep these days.
Bristol Palin says in a two-part interview on Fox News Channel's "On the Record" that she wishes her pregnancy had "happened in, like, 10 years so I could have a job and an education and be, like, prepared and have my own house and stuff."
Palin goes on to say that son Tripp, born Dec. 27, brings her so much joy, she doesn't regret having him at all. She's engaged to the baby's father, Levi Johnston.
The governor also made an appearance in the interview, which took place Sunday in Fairbanks.
Part one of the interview aired Monday night and the second part was scheduled to air Tuesday night.

PJ, you will never find a candidate to meet even a partial list of your expectations. Never.
See, this isn’t about Bristol. This is about a Palin hater projecting.
And Michael Reagan was a bastard! Damn good conservative though.
Why would you need to lock your doors unless you have made moral judgments about some of your neighbours or those who pass through your neighbourhood?
You really should read the whole thread before you start posting replies.
“You know well that someone else asked my opinion of the leading Republican contenders. Its not dishonest to point out the fact that Palin walked into a punch with Couric that a trained media professional might have been expected to handle better.”
PJ would have been one of the people throwing stones at Mary of Bethany as Christ helps her up.
Ok...so maybe in your family, your world, putting the baby up for adoption would be your solution. Can you not accept that others view their family situations differently and make different choices? Again...no public funding is involved here...so (IMO) no public ‘opinion’ needs interjected.
Bristol tried to clear the air. It was a simple little interview...not the downfall of the morality of Western Civilization...
Yes, quite so.
I, once again, reiterate that marriage is THE socially sanctioned state of commitment for the rearing of children. Bristol and Levi have decided it is optional. I DO have a problem with that.
Rintense...back behind the three point arc...she shoots...NOTHING BUT NET!!!
That’s right. Jesus was an enabler.
Noting, when asked, that Palin has shortcomings does not make me a “Palin hater.”
Your inability to perceive any intermediate possibility is amusing in view of your efforts to convict me of the sin of moral absolutism.
The house came with locks...like it came with a furnace. I tend to use what I purchase...
I question the entire adoption scenario. It’s as if some think those who can’t have their own children are entitled to other people’s children. It’s disconcerting.
O.k.
And I’m the dishonest person here; got it.
If they thought it was optional, they wouldn’t intend to get married.
It seems with comments to you, you keep moving the goal post because you can’t be upfront and honest.
Jesus wouldn’t have said that not committing adultery “wasn’t realistic.”
He said “be perfect, as your heavenly father is perfect.”
Bristol doesn’t play that game, though.
A teenager saying they intend to do something needs to be given its due weight in terms of their past behaviour, especially when no obstacle exists to doing today what they say they’re going to do some indeterminate time down the road.
Equating hormonally driven teens with locking doors isn’t quite a comparable anology...you called yourself dishonest...not me.
Was he really? I know he was adopted.
Ron and the sister, can’t recall her name, loons.
