And so it is with fear and trepidation, we transition from the bright light of 232 years of American liberty to the darkening skies of government-instituted tyranny and socialism and maybe even fascism.
We fear for our liberty, our security and our lives. We fear for our children’s future. We fear for our beloved America. Will she continue under the flag of freedom, or will she descend into the depths of depravity, mind-numbing mediocrity, bankruptcy and slavery?
Are we to be consumed by the growing national and international power of those who would enslave us, or will the strength of our belief in freedom and liberty be enough to overcome the evil beast that is Hell bent on wrapping us in chains?
We can hold that faith because the spark of freedom in the minds of the preponderance of Americans, is unique to any culture or country on Earth and it shall not, it will not, be extinguished. American liberty is like bubbles in the sea that always rise to the surface in search of the freedom to fly in the open air.
Although silent we may be, when united, people of freedom have the power to climb over any obstacle, root out any corruption, or replace any tyrannical government. The difficult challenge lies before us, the place is here in America, the time is now and the world is watching what we do.
This author has the unshakable confidence that true, brave and courageous Americans are up to the challenge and will ultimately prevail.
As we pass into a “night” of gathering uncertainty, so too will we pass into a new dawn of freedom, just as we did 232 years ago and like then, we will be born anew.

However, managing all of those responsibilities leaves little room left over for attention to what the government, academia, and the MSM are doing.
Conservatives have freely chosen to leave government, academia, and the MSM over to the liberals. Conservatives are too busy managing their lives within the limits set by government bureaucrats and academic theoreticians to actually oppose them.
This is the great irony of capitalism: capitalists will be too busy building capital to oppose its strangulation from socialism.
All capitalist democracies will necessarily devolve into socialist welfare states, because capitalists will migrate to business and leave the culture-defining organizations to the liberals.
In the past, due to the tradition of primogeniture, only one son would inherit the father's business. The other sons would go into the church, the law, politics, etc. This guaranteed a steady stream of conservative stalwarts into all of the professions.
Now each conservative has fewer children, and ALL of them are strongly encouraged to go into private industry leaving public institutions to the wolves.
There was a long night before the last dawn. We have yet to see how long this night shall be.
There, fixed it.
We are in fact facing a gathering storm. Men will be called on within their hearts to choose freedom or slavery.
And indeed the world is watching.
As China starts throwing off the chains of communism we here in America are being brought under the yoke to have our nations wealth redistributed to the rest of the world.

We'll all find out together. America as a whole has been welcoming the evil beast for decades now.
In the Old Testament, the Israelites were delivered into captivity at such times. Babylon, Egypt, and so on.
