Thanks for posting that.
Here’s another narrated by Paul Newman - A Man Named Dale which was on CMT last year. This is part 1.

I remember watching the race that day. I saw the wreck and didn’t think much of it at first as I’ve watched many wrecks over the years. But when they showed DW and his eyes glanced over towards turn 4 and said “How aboutDale, is he ok? I hope Dale’s alright. I could see in his eyes and on his face it was bad. Then there was no word for the longest time, I saw Jr running towards the infield care center and my heart sank. Then later, I’m not sure how long it was, Mike Helton said the words we will never forget “We have lost Dale Earnhardt”. I could only sit there in disbelief before the tears flowed.
I watched that show last year and enjoyed it. There have been several good shows on that outlined part of his life and I do still enjoy watching. I'm not tired of him yet. heh
I know, when I heard those words, "We have lost Dale Earnhardt" my heart stopped too. Disbelief like you said, is the only words to describe the feelings. We'd lost a hero and a friend it seemed.
