Agreed....but that stigma remains in all cases, conviction, acquittal, pardon, or commutation....unless one is a community organizer.
Swallowed his pride?! SWALLOWED HIS PRIDE! That just tears it. I am so damned sick of so-called “real” conservatives ripping into that man, that if I could reach through my computer to choke some sense into you, I’d do it in a heartbeat. Sheesh, but you just don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.
President Bush did what he thought was right every minute of every day of his presidency. Like all humans, he certainly made mistakes, but he ALWAYS acted in what he believe to be the best interests of this nation.
There is a vast difference between doing what you think is right even if you fail, and deliberately doing something seriously harmful to others. The current occupant of the White House will never act in the best interest of this nation. Someday maybe idiots like you will finally learn the difference. - Wolfstar
No...”real” conservatives are not afraid to speak up when someone in the GOP practically commits treason....jailing those who are there to protect us...on the word of an Illegal Alien drug dealer...who continued to deal drugs while given immunity to testify.
There is a difference between a mistake and sedition. Once it was discovered that the Illegal Alien drug dealer had a shady history (and continued to deal drugs while on immunity)...GWB should have stopped all prosecution and punishment...and fully pardoned Ramos and Compean. This was no “mistake”
The real reason, IMO, Bush pardoned the two was because he was well aware that the Mexi-Narcos were out of control in Mexico, and his legacy would have been permanently charred with two Border Patrol agents sitting in prison being wrongfully convicted on the word of an Mexi-Narco Illegal Alien drug dealer. If Mexico fell to the Mexi-Narcos....Bush would be looking a lot worse
I hope there is further investigation. I want to know why the Mexican government was sooooo concerned with Oswaldo Aldrete-Davila....who may have been the first “poor” Mexican that the Mexi-Narco Government gave a care about...of course Aldrete-Davila was pretty good at hauling large quantites of dope from Mexico into the USA.
I want US Attroney Johnny Sutton sitting in a Federal Prison for his sedition...not just over Ramos and Compean....but the other Law Enforcement Officers who have been convicted on the word of Illegal Aliens. I strongly believe Sutton was on the take of the Mexi-Narcos and Mexican government...
It is Anti-American Bigotry to value the rights of Illegal Aliens over the rights of American citizens...especially those of our American law enforcement...who were in the legal performance of our duties
Thank God Ramos and Compean are going home to their families. They are American heroes, and I hope real conservatives everywhere do all possible to assist and defend R & C and their families
The real reason, IMO, Bush pardoned the two...
You don't even know the most recent of current events, and I'm supposed to take anything you post seriously? President Bush did not pardon them.
HOORAY!
. And why at 3am.
I think most prisoners are released at 3a.m. because the bars are closed~~~at least that’s what I’ve heard~
Me too!
I really hate the whole stinkin' thing to begin with. *sigh* No sense in rehashing to the choir but man, what a rotten way to mess up people's lives!
You betcha! I'm still waiting for justice to rain upon Johnny Sutton and Debra Kanof. ;-)
Texas 2 ping!
True! good post!
Lou Dobbs... coming up in one hour.
Pinging to R&C list. Thanks FFV!
I mispoke w Pardon....but I am well aware of this case...more aware than you are, obviously.
A real conservative is not afraid to call out a GOP member on treason and sedition. It is sedition and treason to value the rights of illegal alien criminals over the rights of American citizens...regardless of which party you vote for.
It is unfortunate that you value your Cult of Personality over GWB more than you value the United States of America.
Thanks...I am just so sick and tired of people who still support Bush on this case....they obviously do not know the facts...or have a very pro-illegal alien agenda...
President Bush did no such thing, but keep throwing your cliches around to self-validate your nonsense. I'll just repeat...
Thank-you...Well said!
I don't know who is who in the above photo, but smiling is what I wouldn't be doing if I were in their shoes.
Our country owes these two guys big-time, and in a very different way, we owe the prosecutor and judge in this case big-time as well.
I thank God they will be reunited with their families, and they will receive His blessings in abundance.
Amen
Ramos is in the Orange
Bush did a disservice to the conservative movement in ths nation esp in his last few years...and especially in this horrid case.
He really lost it..or maybe never really had it.
At least there’s some good news for a change.
