Why on earth did it take one day less than a month from the time the presidential pardon was issued for these two gentlemen to be released?

On what day was the presidential pardon issued? Do you know?

Never happen. Scooter is of the wrong political persuasion.

Perhaps Scooter Libby ought to change his name to Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

The presidential commutation (sorry for the error) was issued on Jan. 19, according to the posted article.

The MSM never had a good word to say about Bush. He was no failure. They painted him as an imbecile, a liar, a nazi, and anything else that was negative. And the sheeple believed them.

We have NO idea what went on behind the scenes here. All this is just bluster and Bush bashing. HE had all the facts. You don’t, none of you really do. Maybe they didn’t want to be pardoned. Who really knows except Mr. Bush and the two men involved.

President Bush did what he thought was right every minute of every day of his presidency. Like all humans, he certainly made mistakes, but he ALWAYS acted in what he believe to be the best interests of this nation.

I am so damned sick of so-called "real" conservatives ripping into that man, that if I could reach through my computer to choke some sense into

You'd be left with a bloody stub.

Are you some exotic drugs?

Bush not only aided and abetted this violent invasion of America, he publicly encouraged it.

Were you asleep for the past 8 years?

And he was the ONLY president that tried to address the issue of illegal aliens. Maybe you didn’t like what he suggested but he at least put it out there.

Hard to believe there are people like you that can be this naive and ignorant to what has and is actually occurring.

There is no need to respond any further here, as I’m not going to waste my time with responses such as yours.

They probably had to be given time to heal, and debriefed. I suspect the Obama administration wanted them waterboarded first.

Here’s a partial list of President Bush’s pardon/commutations. It’s not complete as I think the total of pardons approaches 189.

Did President Bush pardon anybody?

Bush granted a total of 171 and 8 commutations. That’s less than half as many as Presidents Clinton or Reagan issued during their time in office. Both were two-term presidents.

One can get the complete list of names by searching "pardons by g w bush".

I wonder about so many things in that cesspool back there...seems no one cares about those who put them in office. It is so obvious with all the corruption going on. But, I guess it’s been that way since the beginning but with the access we have today to their back room deals we hear more about it. They are all a disgrace. No one cares about us. We need to change our whole system. Today we don’t need representatives with all we have at our own fingertips. They don’t represent us anyway. They only care about their own publicity, their own agendas and their own pockets. They are I’m ashamed to say losers from the word go. They do not represent me.
