It was so beautiful, that I lost a big branch of the tree in my front yard, had to chip the ice out of the hummingbird feeder, chop the ice out of the bird bath, and grab my little furry kid as she tried to do her “doody” on my front porch! LOL!

Yes, my husband was Ret.USMC. 28 years with the Marines.
Snow is all gone - but, more on the way. Flagstaff is supposed to get another 8” to 12” in the next couple days. (We will probably get another good rainy day, and I have a pound of wildflower seed to scatter before it comes.)

Storms can definitely be a challenge! Hope all your critters came out okay. Your bird friends are just so awesome, as is your furry kid! :o)

I lived in Youngtown, AZ and enjoyed the jets flying overhead. I saw several AWACS coming in for landing there. Very impressive. We were also treated to the air shows performed there. I remember coming home from work one day and seeing several jets flying upside down (I swear I could see the pilots looking at us) on 111th Ave. and just clearing the telephone poles. What a rush!

Naawwwwww, only 105 mph! :o)
It’ll all be over soon, and totally worth it so I can come to Maine!
To: mylife
My fridge crapped out, too - but not by a power shortage or mechanical problems - it has been beggin me to clean it out - and today, when I opened the door - something green grabbed my arm!
(Just kidding, of course)
