Wow, even Fox News isn't immune to the hatred of Wal-Mart.

attacked Wal-Mart comparing the company to gangster Al Capone

Yeah I saw that. Don't know who that guy is but, my personal opinion is that he does not have good judgment and I personally would never give him any money of mine to invest.

‘Guests’ on Fox News, not Fox News.

Cavuto damn sure doesn’t think this.

Walmart is becoming like the railroads of old. And they sell mostly Chinese crap. Sometimes Republicans need to learn from the liberals a little to say “I may not buy what you’re selling, but I’ll defend your right to sell it.” Unapologetically praising the most cut-throat business practices may not win a lot of fans.

Actual free enterprise and capitalism on display in a non-union environment...that’s Walmart. It is wildly successful and profitable. And THAT is why Nelson and other leftists don’t like Wallyworld.

Most other stores sell similar merchandise. Why do you condemn Walmart for selling similar merchandise?

Walmart has its share of tough practices like its competitors. Walmart also has friendly practices. For example, Walmart has never had slotting fees likes its competitors.

Walmart has consistently delivered lower prices to consumers, unlike its competitors. Walmart has rewarded its employees with ownership (including the risks) unlike its competitors. Walmart has not supported the left like some of its competitors. Walmart has steadfastly opposed the monopoly of big labor. On balance, I like Walmart so much that I shop there every week. I do not apologize for my preferences.

It is wildly successful

So that explains the recent round of layoffs.

If you don’t like Wal-Mart don’t shop there, start a better store chain.

So that explains the recent round of layoffs.

"round of layoffs", 800 at corporate on an employee base of almost 2,000,000.

Wal-Mart is a mix of bad and good...they sell low price stuff...at the cost of a lot of American manufacturing.

The excessive Wal-Mart bashing...as well as the excessive Wal-Mart praise (much of it from people who never shopped there)...is too much.

The Wal-Mart model will start to fade...probably within the next five to ten years. They are making the same mistakes as a lot of other big chains in the past (over-expansion, limited quantity and quality of products). Their weak competition is pretty much out of business, while their main threats (especially grocery) are still around.

I remember as a kid, older folks told me “Woolworth’s will never go out of business”. Ooops

It is silly to blame Walmart for laying off employees in a period of recession. No one complained when Walmart was hiring large numbers of people...

Ummm...Hillary Clinton was on their Board for some years....so I don’t buy “they are conservative”. They have benefitted greatly from both parties

Walmart has done more for our country than any other company in the history of America—bar none. We are all living a much higher standard of living than we would be if there was no Walmart (even if you never shopped at Walmart).

Walmart is the biggest threat to putting union grocery stores out of business, and that is why it is attacked by unions and democrats.

David Nelson depicted Wal-Mart as a thug on Fox News Channel’s “Cavuto on Business.”...I don't think he's been the same since Ricky was killed in that plane crash......

Spoken just like someone who shops elsewhere, but "knows all about it". I see more AMERICAN products in MY checkouts, bi-weekly. You may be blind, but I look for the little flags!

Cheap is best!
