In the year that the U.S. Constitution was written, Thomas Jefferson said, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants... God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion; what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms."

Every elected or Presidentially appointed member of the three branches of US government should be reminded of this. Until they get it.

Heartily agree! The circumstance of us becoming fat, dumb and happy has led us to a point of near total apathy. With the able assistance of our dinomedia we became, amongst other things, "conspicuous consumers" of the bread and circuses offered to us. Giving little thought to what our handlers in DC were actually up to. Selling us down the river they were!
