Well, actually it would be better if they not only authored a “Bill”, but a State Constitutional Amendment Declairing Sovereignty under their Constitution, and the 10th Amendment, and (putting in a provision that if the Feds don’t back off..secession, peacefully!)

First: One side can’t do things peacefully without the active or passive cooperation of all sides.

Second: Instead of secession, the States need to get together and require the Federal Government to stay in its place. If they can’t do that, they probably can’t secede peacefully anyhow.
