The holiday is Washington’s Birthday. Nixon made the mistake of calling it “Presidents’ Day,” presumably trying to include Lincoln, but there had never been a national holiday in honor of Lincoln. That allowed it to morph into a celebration of all the Presidents, or at least of the ones the liberals like.
